Meet Rachael
Massage Therapist Portland - License 20844

I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist for more than 10 years and specialize in massage therapy for motor vehicle accident patients. I use a variety of massage therapy modalities, including therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to address neck pain, back pain, and other injuries caused from a car accident. I bill your insurance directly, so you don’t have to worry about a thing! I graduated from The Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, CO in 2008, and opened Rachael Summers LMT, LLC in March of 2016.

Therapeutic Massage is vital when looking to heal the body and mind, and make a full recovery, whether it be from stress due to a hectic week at the office, a sports or car accident, or from surgery.

Therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage can also be beneficial for symptom management for chronic conditions such as back pain, neck pain, Piriformis syndrome, Fibromyalgia cancer, and more.

When working with motor vehicle accident patients, I bill your insurance directly and there is no co-pay. For health insurance patients, the co-pay will vary based on your health insurance plan.

Swedish massage is an excellent massage therapy modality to induce a state of deep relaxation. This stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and allows the body to calm down, increasing serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain. Swedish massage can also help to alleviate general tension and pain throughout the body.
